From August 5th to 6th, 2025, the Experience Exchange Conference of the International Taoist Forum was held in Jiu Ran City, Jiangsu Province. This event was organized by the Chinese Taoist Association, co-organized by the Jiangsu Taoist Association and the Zhenjiang Taoist Association, and hosted by the Jiu Ran Taoist Association. Relevant officials from the 11th Bureau of the Central United Front Work Department; Taoist Master Li Guangfu, Vice-Chairman Hu Chenglin, Vice-Chairman Xie Rongzeng, Taoist Master Zhang Gaocheng, Taoist Master Wu Chengzhen, Taoist Master Zhang Chengda, Taoist Master Wu Li, Secretary Con Geng, Vice-Chairman of the Consultative Committee Huang Zhi'an; relevant responsible persons from the United Front and Religious Affairs departments of previous forum host locations, Taoist association leaders, representatives of the sixth International Taoist Forum bidding intention locations, and representatives from the cultural media industry attended the conference. Taoist Master Zhang Gaocheng presided over the meeting.

Dong Changfu Daoist Master delivered a speech at the meeting. Ma Lianmei, the deputy director of the Organization Department of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and the director of the Provincial Federation of Ethnic and Religious Affairs, Chen Keke, the deputy secretary of the Municipal Committee of Zhenjiang and the director of the Organization Department of the Municipal Committee, and Yin Xinhui Daoist Master, the president of the Jiangsu Taoist Association, delivered speeches.

Dong Changfu Daoist Master introduced the origin and significance of holding this exchange meeting and expressed four hopes for the future organization of the International Taoist Forum. Second, by leveraging the World Taoist Federation as a platform, we will deepen international exchanges and cooperation, and promote Taoist culture to reach the global stage. Third, we will attach great importance to the training of personnel for external exchanges, in order to build a strong team for the international dissemination of Taoist culture. Fourth, we will innovate the forms and contents of forums, fully showcasing the rich connotations of Taoist culture.

The participants freely expressed their views, summarized experiences, exchanged insights, and offered suggestions to improve the efficiency and quality of the forum, enhance its influence, and promote the international dissemination of Taoist culture. They also conducted in-depth discussions on expanding the expression forms of Taoist culture, exploring the contemporary value of Taoist culture, deepening cooperation among international Taoist organizations, and fully leveraging the role of the World Taoist Federation. The atmosphere at the scene was very lively.

This meeting not only reviews the past but also focuses on the future. Representatives from the candidate locations for the 6th International Taoism Forum shared their planning ideas at the meeting, stating that they will integrate various forces, strengthen academic support, innovate artistic empowerment, and optimize media dissemination. They will take multiple measures to ensure the smooth organization of the forum, continuously improve the quality of the forum, and further enhance its influence. 

Cong Sheng delivered a summary speech, stating that this exchange meeting summarized experiences, deepened understanding, consolidated consensus, and gathered strength. The meeting conducted in-depth exploration on how to improve the level of the forum's organization. It discussed various aspects such as strengthening the design of the forum's theme, promoting content improvement and form innovation, enhancing publicity effectiveness and logistical support level, strengthening cross-departmental and cross-institutional collaboration and coordination, and continuously expanding the international influence of the forum. This laid the foundation for the high-quality organization of future forums. He emphasized that we should fully absorb the achievements of this exchange meeting, make good use of the results, and organize the next forum with high quality.

Everyone unanimously stated that they would work together to make the International Taoist Forum even better, allowing Taoist culture to shine even more brightly on the international stage, and making greater contributions to promoting cultural exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations and building a community with a shared future for mankind.
