The year 2025 marks the 778th anniversary of the birth of Zhang Sanfeng, the founding master of the Wudang School, and also the 701st anniversary of his apprenticeship, teaching and creation of martial arts on Wudang Mountain. On April 28th, it was learned from the Wudang Mountain Special Zone Wushu Promotion Center that the 778th anniversary celebration of Zhang Sanfeng's birth in 2025 will be held at the Yuzhen Palace in Wudang Mountain on May 6th.

It is learned that this event is jointly organized by the Wudang Wushu Association, the Wudang Mountain Taoist Association, the Zhang Sanfeng Historical and Cultural Research Society of Shiyan City, and Hubei Jiuhe Media Co., LTD. It is co-organized by the Wudang Magazine, the Wudang Sanfeng School Association, and various wushu schools and schools in the Wudang Mountain Special Zone. The event is themed "The Blessed Place of Tai Chi Wudang - Celebrating the 778th Anniversary of Zhang Sanfeng's Birth".
