Wu Lizhi, vice president of the China Taoist Association, is from Yuanjiang City, Hunan Province. He became a monk at the Nanyue Grand Temple in January 1999. He is currently the vice president of the China Taoist Association, the president of the Hunan Taoist Association, and the abbot of the Yuqing Palace in Shaoyang City.
