Huang Zhijie, male, is the abbot of Zhongyue Temple on Songshan Mountain in Henan Province. He was born in 1953 into a Taoist family in Hemiao Village, Yuzhou City, Henan Province. In 1983, he became a monk at Zhongyue Temple in Dengfeng City, Henan Province, due to his faith in Taoism. He is the 21st generation senior Taoist of the Quanzhen Longmen School.
