The president of the World Taoist Federation, Daoist Patriarch Li Guangfu, the president of the Chinese Taoist Association, Herve Louchouarn (Jing Wei) from Mexico, the secretary-general of the World Taoist Federation and vice president of the Chinese Taoist Association, Meng Ziling, the vice president of the Chinese Taoist Association and president of the Hubei Taoist Association, Wu Chengzhen, and the vice president of the Hubei Taoist Association and president of the Wudang Mountain Taoist Association, Liu Wenguo, among others, attended the event. More than 30 trainees from 8 countries including Mexico, France, Russia, Vietnam, Slovenia, Indonesia, Switzerland and Nigeria participated. The opening ceremony was presided over by Daoist Patriarch Meng Ziling.

    Dong Changfu, the Taoist priest, emphasized that Taoist culture has a long history and embodies the profound thoughts of the Chinese people regarding the universe, nature, and life. It is not only a treasure of Chinese culture but also a common spiritual wealth for all humanity. Many of its concepts transcend time and space, surpass national boundaries, and possess eternal charm. In modern society, it still shines with brilliant brilliance. He thanked the overseas Taoist practitioners for their efforts in promoting Taoist culture internationally. He hoped that all the trainees could devote themselves fully, actively participate in discussions and practices. Through this training, they could become seeds for spreading Taoist culture internationally, return to their respective countries to "take root and grow", promote the healthy inheritance of Taoism overseas, and integrate Taoist culture into local cultures, facilitating exchanges and mutual learning among different civilizations, using the power of culture to resolve differences, enhance consensus, and contribute to the construction of the human community with a shared future. He stated that this training session was a good start. The World Taoist Federation and the Chinese Taoist Association will also carry out more content-rich activities to build a broader platform for international exchanges of Taoist culture.

     Ding Wei Daoist Master stated that today, all countries around the world are closely interconnected. Those who pursue Daoism should transcend geographical and cultural boundaries and have the aspiration of a global community of shared destiny. The future talents of the Daoist community should not only strictly adhere to the essence of tradition but also possess broad minds and perspectives. They should strongly support the development of Daoist academies, so that those who aspire to Daoism can follow their masters and, under the guidance of the Three Treasures of Daoism, Buddhist scriptures, and teachers, understand the true meaning of the harmony between heaven and humanity.

     This training course lasts for 15 days and is organized by the World Taoist Federation, with the cooperation of the Hubei Taoist Association and the Taoist Association and Taoist Academy of Wudang Mountain. The courses cover topics such as the history of Taoism, health preservation practices, and ritual observance. The aim is to enhance the understanding of Chinese culture among the Taoist community abroad, strengthen the global cohesion of the World Taoist Federation, promote the overseas dissemination and cultural exchange and mutual learning of Taoist culture, and contribute to the construction of a community of shared future for mankind. Daoist Master Meng Ziling, Vice President of the World Taoist Federation and Vice President of the Chinese Taoist Association, Daoist Master Zhang Gaocheng, an overseas associate professor and doctoral supervisor at the Philosophy College of Nankai University, Misha Tadd , a foreign associate professor and doctoral supervisor at the Philosophy College of Nankai University, and teachers from the Taoist Academy of Wudang Mountain will give lectures to the participants of the training course.
